Family Information Session

Prospective STUDENTS and THEIR FAMILIES of rising 6th & 9th grade students can visit with us during conveniently scheduled times to learn more about the school. Tours start promptly on time. The SEED School of Maryland educates and empowers future leaders of tomorrow. We offer an academic program that challenges our students, a college-inspired environment, character education classes, extra-curricular activities, and athletics. SEED is a statewide, college-preparatory, public boarding school. It is tuition-free for our families. 400 students in grades 6th through 12th live in dormitories on our beautiful, 52-acre campus from Sunday evenings until Friday afternoons. Transportation to and from school is available to all students. Our school is one of four schools of its kind in the nation, all of which were opened by The SEED Foundation. The SEED model has proven outstanding success – more than 90 percent of SEED graduates go on to college. SEED is two point-of-entry school. We only accept applications for students entering the sixth or ninth grade only. We do not accept other grade levels.
